Medium : Colored Pencil
This rose was drawn from a photograph that I had taken some time ago and painted on an sheet of 8×8 Stonehenge paper.
This is the first time I’ve ever used colored pencils. I did enjoy some features such as ease of blending, lack of odor and a simple clean up after use. My number one issue with this medium is time. Painting with colored pencils is a very slow process and the constant sharpening uses up pencils pretty quickly.
Overall, it was a good experiment.
